Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC in Hazlehurst, MS is seeking a 2nd shift Feed Mill Mixer/Operator to mix micro ingredients per formulas, stage products, and help maintain clean production areas. You will monitor equipment, perform routine maintenance, and log production data.

The role requires safety compliance with FSMA and GMP, as well as theft prevention practices to ensure trucks depart empty. The position involves night shifts, occasional weekends, and heavy lifting in a dusty, loud environment, with PPE

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform basic math functions (i.e. proportions, percentages, area, volume, etc.).
• Possess basic computer knowledge and usage abilities.
• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
• Ability to communicate effectively, and read and write legibly.

Responsibilities

• Mix and route feed according to formulas and schedule using batching controller and equipment.
• Coordinate batching schedule and production with appropriate personnel.
• Accurately complete and maintain assigned reports and logs.
• Monitor and adjust equipment to deliver high quality product.
• Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
