Job summary

Walmart is seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift to support local stores. The role involves routine maintenance of facilities, equipment, and fixtures, using plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other craft skills.

You will operate hand and power tools and document repairs in the work order system. The position requires 18+ years, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must maintain an excellent driving record.
• Vocational or Technical certification and 1 year experience, or 2 years total work experience, in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment) and using hand/tools to complete jobs.
• Use the work order system to receive and document repairs supporting Stores and staff.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls and diagnose issues through inspection and testing.
