Job summary

The Budd Group in Cary, NC is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to perform general building repairs and preventative maintenance on a 2nd shift schedule (Mon-Fri, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM). The role requires hands-on maintenance experience and knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.

You will diagnose and repair systems, assist with safety practices, and update work orders. A high school diploma or technical certificate plus 1+ years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of maintenance experience or technical certificate.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Complete minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
• Carry out basic carpentry, drywall prep, and painting tasks.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in an emergency on-call rotation.
