Job summary

Superior Outdoor Products Inc in New Holland, PA, is seeking a manufacturing operator to operate an extrusion machine and help maintain production flow from raw materials to finished components.

The role requires reading a tape measure, using power tools, forklift operation, and a commitment to problem-solving and continuous improvement. Work hours are Monday–Friday 2:00 PM–10:00 PM with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure and other measuring devices.
• Experience with Epicor and computers is a plus.
• Actively participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Safely operate a forklift in a manufacturing environment.

Work Week:

Monday- Friday

Hours:

2:00 PM- 10:00 PM. Additional overtime may be required.

• Operate Extrusion Machine
• Maintain the flow of production, from raw material to finished component
• Use saws and other power tools
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Actively participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Support and help in other areas as the manufacturing schedule dictates.
• Ability to read a tape measure and other measuring devices.
• Safely operate a forklift in a high-traffic, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Epicor and computers would be a plus.
• Measuring components produced by the machine using precision measurement tools

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a manufacturing setting. May be subject to the current local weather conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk, and listen. The employee will at times need to lift up to 50 pounds.
