Job summary

Gabriel Group in Salisbury, NC is seeking an entry-level Associate Extrusion Operator to set up, clean, and operate an extrusion line and related equipment, ensuring products meet specifications and reducing waste. You will follow safety procedures and complete required paperwork under supervision.

The role requires the ability to perform physical tasks, operate a forklift, and communicate with internal customers. Weekend overtime may be required on occasion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial or warehouse settings preferred but not required.
• Availability to occasionally work overtime and on Saturdays.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (lifting up to 55 pounds, moving up to 250 pounds, overhead work, bending, squatting, stooping, stairs, standing/walking).
• Able to wear PPE per safety rules.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Pre-employment physical and background check required.
• Operates forklift to load/unload material from trucks.

Responsibilities

• Set up, clean, and operate an extrusion line and related equipment per specifications.
• Follow safety and cleaning protocols to minimize waste and ensure quality.
• Maintain required paperwork and communicate with internal customers.
• Rotate receiving and logistics duties as needed.
• Move materials using forklift and hand truck as required.
