Job summary

RSCC Wire & Cable LLC is seeking an experienced Extruder Operator for our 2nd shift (3pm-11pm, M-F) in East Granby, CT. You will set up and run the extrusion line to insulate bare wire conductors, monitor product quality, and complete required paperwork.

You will follow MITs, quality checklists, and safety guidelines, adjust line speed and tension, document measurements, and report issues to the supervisor. We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applicants.

Qualifications

• Operates extrusion line and attached equipment following setup instructions.
• Monitors product quality and identifies faults or process deviations.
• Completes required documentation and records per MIT and QA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion line and equipment to insulate wires.
• Adjust line speed, tension, and die settings to target specs.
• Record measurements and maintain traceability and safety compliance.
• Communicate issues to supervisor and support continuous improvement.
