Join to apply for the 2nd Shift Equipment Operator/Laborer role at US Aggregates.

Build your career at US Aggregates! As an Equipment Operator/Laborer, you will be responsible for maintaining production, maintenance, quality, and safety within the Aggregates' Operations, including operating heavy equipment such as Front-End Loaders, Haul Trucks, Skid Steers, etc.

The typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 4pm-4am, subject to change based on business needs.

Essential Functions
  • Operate, service, and maintain various heavy equipment to keep the plant running efficiently.
  • Fuel, oil, grease equipment and understand safety manuals.
  • Perform pre-shift and end-of-shift checks and maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Participate in training and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
  • Keep facilities and equipment clean and maintained.
  • Suggest operational improvements for safety and efficiency.
  • Follow all safety regulations, including PPE requirements.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately.
  • Follow company processes related to product transfers, quality, safety, and operations.
  • Complete necessary training and certifications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, aligning with company values and skills development.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Dependable attendance and performance.
  • Ability to follow directions and complete tasks on schedule.
  • Basic reading, writing, communication, and math skills.
  • Knowledge of safety and operating principles.
  • Documentation and recordkeeping skills.

  • Effective communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Welding, torching, and maintenance skills are preferred.
Physical and Working Conditions
  • Ability to stand, walk, ascend/descend ladders, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and work outside in various weather conditions.
