Job summary

Taylor Print & Visual Impressions, a Taylor Corporation company, is seeking an Equipment Operator to join the Bloomington, IL team. You will operate printing press equipment and coordinate with production to meet deadlines.

The shift is 2nd shift, 3:00pm–11:30pm, Monday–Friday. We offer DailyPay and a competitive hourly rate of $19–$21, with eligibility for an 1,000 new hire incentive depending on policy. Taylor provides comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate printing press equipment to job specs and quality standards.
• Perform daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment for optimum output.
• Prepare inks for proper color and consistency.
• Check paper type, size, color, and quantity.
• Check plates for correct format.
• Visually inspect forms for quality throughout the run.
• Coordinate with Production Team to prioritize jobs and meet deadline changes.
• Maintain knowledge of safety requirements for job and equipment.

Your Opportunity

Taylor Print & Visual Impressions, a Taylor Corporation company, is looking for an Equipment Operator to join the Bloomington, IL Team.

Work Authorization

Your Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate printing press equipment, in compliance with job specifications and in accordance with company quality standards and procedures
• Performs daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output
• Prepare inks for proper color and consistency
• Check paper for type, size, color and quantity
• Check plates for correct format
• Visually inspect forms throughout run for quality
• Coordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates
• Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment

Your Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:00pm - 11:30pm, Monday - Friday

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $19-21. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.
