Job summary

Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Systems seeks an Environmental Services Technician for the 2nd shift to perform general cleaning, assist in training departmental staff, and provide excellent customer service across the Health System.

This full-time role runs 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM with pay based on experience, starting at $16.14 per hour. Responsibilities include room setup, trash removal, floor care, carpet maintenance, and safe chemical handling per SOPs.

Qualifications

• Full-Time position with 40 hours per week
• 2nd Shift: 5 PM to 1:30 AM
• Pay based on experience, starting at $16.14/hour

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparing meeting room setups.
• Assists in training new employees in procedures used in the department.
• Collects trash and recyclables and deposits for pickup/removal.
• Dusts and mops tiled floors, maintains equipment in clean condition.
• Maintains carpets by vacuuming, spot cleaning and hosting as necessary.
• Mixes, uses and disposes of chemicals per directions.
• Moves furniture on wheels (beds, chairs, tables).
• Shampoos upholstered furniture and performs floor stripping/waxing/buffing.
• Washes windows and walls in assigned areas.
• Responds to Code Speed, Plan D, Dr. Red, Plan W, Code Rush and Code Alert.
