Job summary

SRCTec, LLC is seeking a 2nd shift Electronics Technician in Syracuse, NY to test, troubleshoot, and repair RF, digital processing, and power components in military electro-mechanical systems. You will set up test equipment, read schematics, and document results.

The role offers a 10% shift differential for 2nd shift and a path to contribute to a leading defense contractor’s depot operations. Ideal candidates hold an associate degree in electronics and 3+ years in electronics

Qualifications

Associates degree in electronics technology or related field; 3+ years in electronics testing/manufacturing.
Experience setting up and using commercial test equipment while following best practices.
Ability to read electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
Self-starter who can think critically and manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

Adhere to test procedures to support daily manufacturing operations.
Set up and use automated and manual test equipment.
Diagnose and repair complex system and equipment problems.
Inspect circuit card assemblies for faulty components.
Troubleshoot RF, digital, and voltage failures to the component level.
Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings for troubleshooting.
Perform solder rework of surface-mounted components as needed.
Document test results and repair actions accurately.
Support manufacturing through testing of proprietary systems and sub-assemblies.
