Job summary

Schwan's Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a full-time role in a food manufacturing environment. You will build printed circuit boards and electronic sub-assemblies, read schematics, calibrate instruments, and perform inspections and maintenance across production equipment.

The role requires 3+ years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to work varied hours including overtime or weekends. Benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two-year maintenance trade degree preferred.
• 3+ years of related experience in maintenance/electrician work.
• Ability to work varied hours including overtime and weekends.
• Advanced electrical and maintenance knowledge/experience.

Responsibilities

• Builds printed circuit boards and electronic sub-assemblies; calculates resistance, loads, currents and sizes.
• Assist in fabrication and testing of electrical/electronic systems.
• Perform periodic inspections of scales, meters, controllers and other measuring devices.
• Calibrate instruments and replace/repair equipment as needed.
• Perform PMs and verifications on control components.
• Maintain material lists and assist in purchasing requests.
• Modify and write PLC logic; diagnose electrical/mechanical problems and take corrective action.
• Read schematics to perform maintenance or installation of plant equipment.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical/electronic equipment; set up PLC networks.
