Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Electrical Technician I for the Arden, NC facility. You will participate in final inspection, testing, and documentation of electrical components and assemblies to verify proper function.

Responsibilities include following schematics, setting up test plans, and addressing failures with cross-functional teams. The role requires reading electrical diagrams, troubleshooting, and maintaining calibration records while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in power distribution or electrical distribution.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Experience troubleshooting complex electrical circuits.

Responsibilities

• Set up, inspect, and test equipment per instructions and schematics.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, insulation, and sequence testing.
• Inspect assemblies, panels, and components for quality and function.
• Troubleshoot test failures and coordinate corrective actions with Engineering and Quality.
