Job summary

UTZ Brands, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Mechanical Maintenance Technician for our Goodyear, AZ manufacturing team. You will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical components of production and facility equipment.

The 2nd shift is Monday–Friday 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, with some Saturdays. You will read blueprints and schematics, perform preventive maintenance, and work with PLC-controlled systems while upholding food-safety responsibilities.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in electrical, mechanical and electronic applications.
Able to read blueprints, drawings and electrical schematics.
Must troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment.
Capable of performing preventive maintenance per schedule.
Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs and work at heights.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots and repairs manufacturing equipment (motor controls, drives, packaging machines, PLCs).
Repairs facility equipment (pumps, fans, HVAC, hydraulic systems).
Troubleshoots PLC-controlled equipment.
Performs preventive maintenance and follows schematics/drawings.
Performs minor electrical installations as needed.
