Job summary

BAC Dayton is seeking an Electrical Assembler for the Dayton, TN facility on the 2nd shift. The role involves wiring, test, and troubleshooting to ensure products meet customer expectations. You will work on an assembly line and collaborate across departments to maintain quality and safety standards.

The candidate should have 2+ years in motors/controls and wiring, with familiarity of 3-phase systems and NEC code. Different shifts and overtime may be required to support production.

Qualifications

• Experience with 3-phase wiring including motors, motor controls, transformers, PLCs, and 1-phase 120Vac/24Vdc for control circuits.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams.
• Troubleshoot evaporative cooling tower components and logic controls.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Intermediate computer knowledge and ability to process department paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications (machine, mechanical and electrical).
• Read and interpret electrical and electronic circuit diagrams, drawings and schematics.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in motors and controls maintenance/troubleshooting.
• Minimum of 2 years wiring experience.
• PLC programming experience desired.
• Hi-Pot testing experience preferred.
• Operate/test equipment such as a multimeter and other tools.
• Work at heights with fall protection and support production requirements.
