Job summary

CSP Composite is seeking a hands-on Electronics/PLC Technician to support the plant with installation, diagnostics, and repair of PLCs, robotics, and electrical controls. You will contribute to continuous improvement, equipment uptime, and safety compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes electrical and ladder logic design, system backups, and collaboration with production teams to enhance part quality and productivity.

Qualifications

• A two year degree or related experience in electronics with robotics or PLC machines and systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair PLCs and process computers.
• Design and diagnostics ladder logic for PLCs.
• Troubleshoot all plant equipment.
• Design and program robotics interfaces.
• Monitor and design electronics monitoring systems.
• Maintain servo control systems and repairs.
• Document all electrical, ladder logic, and controls.
• Back up PLC and robot system software.
• Support safety rules, policies and procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electronics.
• Aid production with equipment troubleshooting and uptime improvements.
• Pursue continuous improvement to reduce downtime.

Primary Job Functions

• Programmable Logic Controller and process computers installation and repair.
• Programmable Logic Controller and process computers ladder logic design and diagnostics.
• Troubleshooting of all plant equipment.
• Robotics system and interface design, installation and general programming.
• Electronics monitoring systems, design and construction.
• All Servo control systems, troubleshooting and repair.
• Complete Documentation of all plant equipment: electrical, ladder logic, and controls.
• PLC and robotic system software backups.
• Support plant safety rules, workforce contract and company policies and procedures.
• Preventative maintenance of electronic equipment.
• Promotes quality, environmental and 5-S.
• Support production with equipment troubleshooting and repair.
• Upgrade system operations to improve part quality and increase productivity.
• Continuous improvement of plant equipment to enhance downtime prevention.
• To service engineering and production personnel requests for help with process and quality issue.

Qualifications - External
