Job summary

Skybox Packaging in Mansfield, OH is seeking a Dock Assistant Material Handler for the 2nd shift (2 p.m.–10 p.m., Mon–Fri) with some Saturday overtime. The role oversees the smooth flow of material and vehicles through shipping docks and yards, ensuring accurate check-ins and organized records.

Responsibilities include coordinating inbound/outbound dock activities, maintaining dock and yard organization, escorting non-Skybox drivers, and upholding GMP, safety, and DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires dependable, detail-oriented team member with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in safety, DOT regulations awareness, and forklift operation.
• Experience in shipping/warehousing is preferred; on-site role.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate all dock activities inbound and outbound.
• Manage dock traffic and trailer counts to maintain workflow.
• Check in inbound shipments by PO#, directing to correct warehouse.
• Escort non-Skybox drivers inside the facility as required.
• Maintain the manual Dock Log with driver times and deliveries.
• Uphold GMP, safety, and DOT compliance across dock operations.
