Job summary

Leggett & Platt in Fort Smith, AR is seeking a full-time Forklift Operator Lead to direct ship/rec forklift activity and manage critical shipping workflows. You will own key processes such as JDE Ship Confirm, Trancollector Ship Confirm, and JDE Receiving to ensure accurate, timely paperwork.

You will coordinate dock operations, supervise staff, and train teammates to uphold safety and efficiency in a fast-paced dock environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience operating forklifts and leading a shipping/receiving team preferred.
• Ability to coordinate dock door assignments and communicate inbound/outbound trailer needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the Ship/Rec Forklift Operators for the dock area.
• Own and manage the JDE Ship Confirm and Trancollector Ship Confirm processes.
• Own the JDE Receiving and Trancollector Receiving processes and ensure timely, accurate documentation.
• Create BOLs and ensure proper shipping paperwork flow (Outbound/In Process).
• Coordinate inbound/outbound trailer needs and dock door assignments.
• Provide direction and training to team members as assigned by supervisor.
