Job summary

Semper is seeking a 2nd Shift Full-Time Digital Press Operator in Newburyport, MA. The role uses a roll-fed digital inkjet 4-color press (Screen Truepress 520HD) and includes operating a saddle stitcher and perfect binder.

Shift is Mon-Thu 4p–2am with potential evenings/weekends. Responsibilities include setup, operation, and maintenance, following ISO procedures, maintaining equipment and work area, and coordinating with phone support for troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up and operating roll-fed digital inkjet press.
• Experience with saddle stitcher and perfect binder.
• Knowledge of ISO procedures and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain roll fed digital ink jet 4-color press.
• Set up, operate and maintain saddle stitcher and perfect binder.
• Perform operator maintenance and work with phone support to troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Monitor supply levels and assist with consumable orders.
• Working knowledge of ISO procedures and compliance.
• May require additional availability to work evenings and/or weekends.
