Job summary

Allstate Peterbilt Group in Eau Claire, WI is seeking a Service Technician/ Diesel Mechanic for the 2nd shift. You will diagnose, repair, and overhaul diesel engines and driveline components using advanced diagnostic equipment, OEM procedures, and a commitment to quality service.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, good attendance, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Frequent bending and twisting.

Responsibilities

• Work with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to determine the root cause of system failures.
• Determine services required to repair and perform failure analysis.
• Complete repairs and rebuilds/overhauls on a variety of diesel engines.
• Perform diagnostic and repairs on driveline and chassis components including clutches, fan hubs, differentials, fifth wheels, suspension and brakes, transmissions, and other necessary repairs.
• Apply OEM documented procedures and policies to complete complex repairs, including identifying required parts and tools.
