Job description

  • Pay $31 - $38 / hour
  • Job Name Non-Driver - LTD FAR Shop - Diesel Mechanic
  • Pay $31 - $38 / hour
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 12:30 PM - 10:30 PM - (4 10-hr shifts)

The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for routine and preventative maintenance, diagnosing, and repairing diesel engine semi-tractors and trailers.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in tractors and trailers.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections on tractors and trailers.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Perform intermediate repairs such as HVAC, ABS, aftertreatment diagnosis and repairs, APUs, communication, and tracking systems.
  • Maintain detailed records of work completed by Magnum guidelines, including parts used and repairs performed.
  • Performs, trains, and mentors entry-level technicians by providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies while handling tools and chemicals.
  • Qualified to perform OEM warranty work.
