Van Meter Inc. in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Delivery Lead for the 2nd shift to guide the transfer delivery team, run routes, and coordinate overnight transfers between our Cottage Grove locations.

This role emphasizes safety, training, and continuous improvement within a positive team atmosphere. You will coach team members, monitor vehicle maintenance, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations while promoting our 5 P's and customer-focused service.

Qualificações

• Minimum high school education or GED.
• 1 year delivery or courier experience required.
• Class A CDL is required.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs.
• DOT qualifications must be met.
• Demonstrated computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee transfer delivery team and provide day to day direction.
• Run delivery routes and arrange coverage as needed.
• Assist with overnight transfers and staging of materials.
• Coordinate logistics between locations.
• Coach and train team members.
• Maintain DOT regulation compliance.
• Ensure safe, efficient and accurate product delivery.
