Job summary

Sun-Rype Products (USA), Inc. in Wapato, WA is hiring a Decanter Operator on the 2nd/Swing shift to safely run finishers, heat exchangers and decanters. The role includes ensuring CCP1 compliance for temperature and flow, following all Sun-Rype food safety guidelines, and performing CIP and maintenance tasks.

The position requires flexibility to work any shift, physical capability to lift and stand for long hours, and ability to drive a forklift. Prior decanter operator experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum one year experience as a decanter operator preferred.
• Able to work any shift, overtime and any days.
• Knowledge of CIP chemicals and proper PPI.
• Knowledge of augers and how to maintain covers and guards.

Responsibilities

• Operate decanter, finisher, and pasteurizer processes.
• Watch Mash cooler during startup and address issues.
• Perform CIP on pasteurizers 1&2 and flushing to filter tanks.
• Change finisher bins and perform valve changes to direct product.
• Move pumice truck, ensure pumps and augers work, and operate forklift.
