Henny Penny Corporation is seeking an Entry Deburrer to operate tools and machinery used to finish parts from Laser and Punch lines. You will maintain deburr tooling, sort parts, and ensure accurate part identification while following Kanban and JDE processes.

You must be able to lift up to 100 lbs, stand for 8 hours, read technical drawings, and work with basic math. A strong safety focus and teamwork are essential to thrive in our People First environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; 18+ years old.
• 1–3 years in metal fabrication or CNC operation.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and stand all day.
• Read and interpret technical docs and drawings.
• Basic math and strong safety practices.
• Knowledge of Kanban, JDE, BOM viewer, and method sheets.

Responsabilidades

• Operate deburr tooling and equipment for Laser and Punch part finishing.
• Maintain Deburr tooling and related machines (Fladder, Costa, Aluminum, Vibradyne).
• Assist with gathering final parts from Laser and Punch runs.
• Identify good/bad cuts, sort and stack parts.
• Ensure scrap disposal and maintain a clean work area.
• Follow safety procedures and support team behaviors.

General Description

The Entry Deburrer role is responsible for independently operating all associated equipment and tooling necessary to smooth parts made on the Laser and Punch machines.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Understands how to correctly use the following functions within JDE programing (i.e. sending Kanban cards, tracking Kanban card status and history.)
• Operates d maintains all deburr tooling and following machines; Fladder, Costa, Aluminum Machine and Vibradyne.
• Helps to collect final parts as the Laser and Punch machines make parts.
• Identifies quality cut, identifies parts, sorts and stack.
• Identifies material types and practice proper disposal of scrap.
• Demonstrates consistency in practicing all safety procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment.
• Models Team Member Expected Behaviors and Henny Penny core values
• Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 1- 3 years of experience in metal fabrication or CNC machine operation.
• Ability to frequently move objects up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to stand for 8 consecutive hours a day.
• Good Vision (ability to see intricate details).
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Effective communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot Knowledge of basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide) Ability to understand manufacturing processes such as Kanban, JDE, BOM viewer, method sheets, etc.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos Basic computer skills Must be able to successfully pass pre‑employment drug screen, background check screen, and motor vehicle screen (if applicable)
