Job summary

Grande Cheese Company is hiring a 2nd Shift Production Operator for our new Chilton facility. You will operate and maintain intake and dairy equipment, support lean initiatives, and help ensure safety and quality in a start-up environment.

The four-day, 10-hour schedule runs Monday through Thursday, 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM, with a $25.70/hour base pay plus a $3.00 night-shift premium for applicable hours. Candidates need a High School diploma or GED and 1–4 years of advanced manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–4 years of advanced manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot dairy intake equipment.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and control systems related to processing equipment.
• Proficient in using computer systems for data entry and equipment monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment for optimal performance.
• Conduct quality inspections and tests.
• Troubleshoot issues and support lean initiatives (JIT, 5S, Kaizen, TPM).
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to regulatory standards (FDA, OSHA, USDA).
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive operational excellence in a start-up environment.
