Job Details:

This position is responsible for inventory control in the maintenance shop, as well as receiving and storing parts, maintenance supplies, and miscellaneous receivers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Some of these duties include:

  • Issuing Tools and Parts: Distribute tools, parts, and equipment to workers and maintain accurate records of items issued and returned.
  • Inventory Management: Control parts room inventory, ensuring that all items are properly stocked, identified, and organized.
  • Order Processing: Identify and order necessary parts and equipment to maintain adequate inventory levels.
  • Record Keeping: Initiate and maintain all required records pertaining to maintenance parts, including tracking usage and managing documentation.
  • Locating Items: Assist in locating lost or misplaced tools and parts.
  • Maintenance Support: Provide support to maintenance personnel by ensuring they have the necessary tools and parts to perform their tasks efficiently.

This position is for a B shift which runs from 4:30 am to 5:00 pm and rotates days.

Requirements:

Experience: General knowledge and experience with parts and tools preferred.

Inventory Experience is also preferred.

Computers: General knowledge computer skills are required. Experience with Excel & SAP is preferred.
