ServingSchools is seeking a dedicated Second Shift Custodian for Richmond Middle/High School. This role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and the community.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and may involve lifting up to 50 pounds. Applicants should be able to work independently or as part of a team and pass a CHRC-Maine DOE background check. Two openings are available, with a shift differential of $0.35/hour.

Qualifications

• Prior custodial or maintenance experience is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks regularly.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect surfaces as needed.
• Empty trash and recycling containers.
• Restock supplies and maintain inventory.
• Set up and break down spaces for events or activities.
• Monitor building security and ensure doors/windows are secured at end of shift.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks and report larger issues to administration.
• Follow all safety and sanitation protocols.

Richmond Middle/High School is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our facilities team as a Second Shift Custodian. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect surfaces as needed
• Empty trash and recycling containers
• Restock supplies and maintain inventory
