Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a part-time Cleaner for the 2nd shift. The role involves cleaning a variety of areas inside buildings under supervision, using buffers, shampoo machines, and portable vacuums.

Duties include dusting, window and bathroom care, trash removal, and reporting any equipment issues. Ideal candidates will require no prior cleaning experience, be able to follow directions, work with minimal supervision, and demonstrate energy and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Basic cleaning responsibilities requires no previous experience.
• Must be able to take direction, to work with minimal supervision, and to function cooperatively as part of a team.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
• Use a portable vacuum cleaner - back pack style.
• Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors, and other surfaces (inside buildings).
• Use light and heavy floor buffers and shampoo machines including attachments.
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; spot clean daily and shampoo rugs as directed.
• Dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and other surfaces including high dusting.
• Wash windowsills and glass in interior doors, partitions, and specified windows.
• Maintain bathrooms: restock supplies, damp-wipe surfaces, and clean tiles.
• Report defects to supervisors (e.g., clogged urinals, lights out).
• Collect and dispose of building trash daily; replace liners.
• Sweep or shovel snow from entrances and walkways as directed.
• Perform periodic tasks: high dusting, leather/wood polishing, wall washing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
