Job summary

Township High School District 211 is seeking a 2nd shift custodian at Schaumburg High School. This is a 12-month hourly position with Monday to Friday workdays and a 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm shift.

Responsibilities include cleaning areas assigned by the Night Foreman, replacing lamps, and maintaining security in housekeeping areas. The role supports building set-ups for rentals and activities and may involve snow removal and asset record maintenance.

Qualifications

• Be familiar with all types of equipment used in maintenance of tile floors and carpet.
• Possess safety habits, skills and insight while performing custodial work.
• Knowledgeable in all areas of housekeeping.
• Must be capable of understanding instructions and physically able to perform assigned tasks.
