Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Montgomery City, MO seeks a Cooler & Smoker Associate for full-time work in a refrigerated production environment. Responsibilities include processing, cooling, smoking, labeling, tracking temperatures, and maintaining accurate production records.

Requires a High School diploma or GED and ability to work swing shifts in a GMP/HACCP/SQF environment. Training provided on SOPs, safety, and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and understand production documents, labels, lot numbers and SOPs.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in temperature records.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload industrial smokehouses per schedules and procedures.
• Transfer products safely between production areas (Kitchen, Smokehouse, Cooler, Warehouse).
• Monitor temperatures during cooling and smoking processes and record data.
• Label finished and in-process products accurately and maintain traceability.
• Rotate inventory following FIFO requirements.
• Complete required production paperwork accurately and timely.
• Inspect products for damage, labeling, or non-conforming conditions.
• Operate hand pallet jacks and other approved material-handling equipment.
