Job summary

LRS Federal is seeking a skilled Construction Manager for the Veterans Hospital project in OR, on 2nd shift (2pm–10pm). This role supports mechanical, electrical, and project engineers, ensuring renovations meet contract requirements and standards.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in building construction/renovation, builds on EM 385-1-1 and OSHA knowledge, and is proficient with USACE RMS reporting and scheduling tools like MS Project and Primavera P6.

Qualifications

• Strong background in construction quality assurance, with federal project experience preferred.
• 10+ years in building construction/renovation/modernization.
• Hands-on knowledge of EM 385-1-1 and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect contractor work, with daily RMS reports detailing compliance with contract plans and specs.
• Review on-site materials and equipment for conformance to EM 385-1-1 and OSHA standards, documented in RMS.
• Observe contractor methods and document any deviations, advising Government personnel.
• Analyze project progress using MS Project and Primavera P6 to assess critical path and schedule impacts.
