Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. in Adelanto is seeking a 2nd shift Composite Technician Assembler to join the Adelanto Manufacturing team.

The role performs non-routine fabrication, curing, build-up and assembly of composite materials following blueprints, templates and process sheets. Responsibilities include mold prep, cutting and routing materials, lay-up, drilling and installing fasteners, surface preparation and painting, plus quality checks and record-keeping.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of related composite fabrication experience.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and process sheets.

Responsibilities

• Mold prep and lay-up following templates, guides and dimensions.
• Route, drill, trim, and install fasteners per blueprint dimensions.
• Prepare surfaces and apply coatings; inspect and document quality.
