Job summary

Steelcrest Precision is seeking a 2nd-shift Toolmaker to program and machine parts per blueprints. You will set up and operate Haas and Okuma lathes/mills, read GD&T, and verify tolerances. Mastercam experience is required, with a strong emphasis on precision and efficiency.

The role offers an off-shift premium and overtime with flexible scheduling, along with a competitive benefits package. Candidates should be able to stand for long periods and lift 30+ pounds.

Qualifications

• GD&T understanding and experience.
• Strong math abilities (decimals, fractions).
• Experience reading, writing, and editing G-Code.

Responsibilities

• Program and machine parts according to blueprints, drawings, and layouts.
• Setup, operate, and disassemble lathes, mills, and grind machines.
• Verify dimensions, sizes, shapes, and tolerances of workpieces.
• Align, secure, and adjust cutting tools and workpieces.
• Turn, mill, drill, shape, and grind parts to specifications.
