Job summary

Erie Industrial Products LLC is seeking an experienced CNC Operator in Oberlin, OH. The role involves setting up and operating CNC mills and grinders to produce precision parts, reading blueprints, and ensuring accurate machine setup.

You will work with X, Y, and Z axes, including 4th and 5th axis machining, and inspect parts with precision tools. Hours are Monday–Friday, 2:30 pm–11:00 pm, offering a stable full-time position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience setting up and operating CNC machinery.
• Knowledge of X, Y, and Z axes and 4th/5th axis machining.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of G & M Codes and CNC program editing.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and grinders to produce precision parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and production documentation.
• Change fixtures, tooling, and offsets to ensure accurate machine setup.
• Edit CNC programs and adjust G & M Codes, speeds, and feeds.
• Work with X, Y, and Z axes as well as 4th and 5th axis machining.
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools.
• Troubleshoot machining issues with production and engineering teams.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while meeting quality goals.

What You Bring
