Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience in a job shop or high-mix environment.
• Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC machines (Haas, Okuma, PAMA).
• Ability to read blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings.
• Experience with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators).
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs or setups.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training preferred.
• Physical Requirements: lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Machines (Haas, Okuma, PAMA)
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate production
• Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for each job
• Perform in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments
• Make program edits and offsets as needed to maintain tight tolerances
• Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize setups for efficiency and quality
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment
• Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and team members to meet production goals and deadlines
• Assist with preventative maintenance and basic machine upkeep
• Other duties as assigned
• Direct customer contact may be required at times.
