Welker, a Sugar Land, Texas-based manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist (2nd Shift) to produce precision components. You will set up and operate CNC and manual equipment, interpret drawings, and maintain safety and quality standards in a busy shop.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing instructions.
• Minimum 3 years of machining experience with CNC setup and operation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines and other shop equipment.
• Plan machining operations from raw material to finished product.
• Interpret drawings, routings, and BOMs.
• Perform basic offsets and setups for accuracy.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify part quality.
• Meet production timelines while upholding quality standards.
