Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and understand work-related documents.
• Ability to pass vision standards and a post-offer drug screen.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch.
• English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment, CNC machines, saws, forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Read and understand work orders and instructions.
• Accurately complete production and inventory paperwork.
• Load, stack, move, and transport foam and fiber products.
• Cut foam and fiber products according to specifications.
• Bag, move, and transport finished products using carts and other material-handling equipment.
• Use hand scanners as part of the inventory tracking system.
• Safely operate a forklift to load and unload trailers and move materials throughout the facility.
• Inspect products for defects and determine the most efficient cutting process.
• Set machine controls and make necessary blade adjustments.
• Operate cutting equipment from machine consoles.
• Measure materials and verify dimensions meet specs.
• Assist production supervisors with additional duties as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
