Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to set up and run CNC equipment, inspect parts, and ensure production targets are met. The role involves interpreting drawings, selecting tools, and adjusting parameters to achieve quality outcomes.

Hours: Monday through Thursday, 2pm-12am. Benefits include employee programs and standard industry perks; must maintain safe CNC operation and produce parts per specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC equipment and reading drawings.
• Ability to generate part programs meeting specs.
• Strong attention to tool wear and maintenance.
• Safety-focused and capable of efficient setup/run of machines.

Responsibilities

• Performs dimensional inspection of product as required.
• Monitors and changes cutting tools as needed.
• Loads and unloads products.
• Aware of proper orientation of product in machinery.
• Enters commands to title and store programs in memory.
• Adjust feed rate and speed for CNC operations.
• Enters commands to retrieve stored data and programs.
• Modify programs on the shop floor.
• Reviews orders and drawings for job specs.
• Calculates machining criteria such as axis movement and tool selection.
• Operate CNC functions safely and efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned.
