Job summary

Muskegon County is seeking a Clinical Services Supervisor II to oversee a multidisciplinary clinical team within HealthWest. The role includes direct client services, assessments, and treatment planning to meet program goals and agency standards.

The supervisor will provide staff education, guidance on complex cases, and collaboration with other providers to ensure coordinated care. A Master’s degree and MI licensure within 90 days are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, clinical psychology, or closely related field.
• Must be licensed by the State of Michigan within 90 days of hire.
• Two years’ social services, human services, mental health, or healthcare work experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain a Michigan Driver License within 30 days of employment.
• Must have reliable transportation to perform job duties.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Social Workers, Psychologists, and other clinical team members within a client-related division of HealthWest.
• Provide direct client service, conduct assessment, planning and treatment to individual clients.
• Deliver staff education and training and provide technical assistance to staff about clients with special difficulties.
• Coordinate care by working with other providers to support client needs and program goals.

Education

Master’s degree in social work / counseling / clinical psychology or closely related field

Licensed by the State of Michigan within 90 days of hire

Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain Michigan Driver License within 30 days
