Job summary

Bunzl is seeking a professional Driver to join our team in Indianapolis. You will safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer, perform pre-trip inspections, and deliver goods to local and long-distance customers.

This 2nd shift starts at 4am and offers a rate of $26 per hour with weekly pay. You must have a valid Class A CDL, a clean driving record, pass background checks and drug tests, and be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate commercial vehicles and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and ELD compliance.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Pass background check and drug tests; maintain medical card.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate a Class A tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Deliver goods in a timely and safe manner to customer locations, both local and long-distance.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean driving record and ensure timely submission of logs and paperwork.
• Manage cargo loading/unloading, ensuring items are safely secured.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained, reporting any issues to management immediately.
