Growing, family owned local company is looking for a 2nd Shift Chemical Operator - Full time

Are you experienced in chemical plant operations or friction packaging? Our client is looking for aChemical Operator, where you'll oversee a chemical reaction process and contribute to maintaining safety and efficiency. If you're skilled in troubleshooting and thrive in dynamic work environments, this is the role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely manage chemical processes while ensuring product quality and compliance.
  • Operate production equipment and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Monitor and adjust instruments, gauges, and valves to regulate chemical flow, ensuring precise reactions.
  • Handle material transfers, operate pumps, and assist with raw material unloading and equipment maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and perform safety protocols, including LOTO and handling hazardous lines.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Willingness to work overtime and follow all safety regulations, including PPE use.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects, and work in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to work in a team, follow both verbal and written instructions, and adapt to different environments.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes and equipment operation is a plus.
