Job summary

A staffing agency is seeking a Compounder to ensure timely production of batches in Eagan, Minnesota. The role involves overseeing batch production according to schedule, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with various departments. Ideal candidates should be proactive and detail-oriented, capable of addressing production challenges efficiently. Health and safety training will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure batches are produced according to the production schedule.
  • Schedule and staff Pre-weigh and Chemical Picking to meet the production schedule.
  • Track all batch records.
  • Complete inventory movements accurately and timely, including chemical issuance.
  • Support pre-weighers when issues arise and produce batches.
  • Attend required Health and Safety courses.
  • Collaborate with Research and Development on batching procedure changes.
  • Coordinate with maintenance to repair defective equipment.
  • Determine root causes for non-conforming batches and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide feedback and action plans for batches that cannot be completed as scheduled.
  • Monitor bulk raw material levels and advise on adjustments.

Job description

Position Summary:

Compounders ensure batches are pre-weighed and made on time to meet production needs. They communicate with Planning, Production, and Scheduling regarding any delays or shortages of batches.

Shift: 2nd shift - 4 PM to Midnight

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure batches are produced according to the production schedule.
  • Schedule and staff Pre-weigh and Chemical Picking to meet the production schedule.
  • Track all batch records.
  • Complete inventory movements accurately and timely, including chemical issuance.
  • Support pre-weighers when issues arise and produce batches/colored batches.
  • Attend required Health and Safety courses, including confined space entry and workplace accident investigations.
  • Collaborate with Research and Development on batching procedure changes to update master documents.
  • Coordinate with maintenance to repair defective equipment.
  • Determine root causes for non-conforming batches and implement corrective actions with documentation.
  • Provide feedback and action plans for batches that cannot be completed as scheduled.
  • Monitor bulk raw material levels and advise on adjustments to meet production needs.
