Job summary

Crystal Group, Inc. is seeking a Chassis Assembler to build mechanical components and power supply assemblies on the main production line.

You’ll follow engineered drawings and work instructions, using hand tools and occasional specialized equipment to ensure assemblies meet quality standards. Responsibilities include teamwork with engineering for manufacturability, time management on the line, and rigorous adherence to quality.

Qualifications

  • Must be a US Person (US citizen or perm resident).
  • GED or high school diploma required.
  • At least 2 years of mechanical experience.

  • Verify finished products meet drawings and quality standards.
  • Manage time effectively on the line.

Reports to: Supervisor, Chassis Department: Operations

Work Model: Full-time, on-site – No Travel Required

Schedule: Monday – Thursday 3:00 pm - 1:00 am

Job Summary

Chassis assembly marks the beginning of the main line production process. Following engineered drawings and work instructions, the Chassis Assembler constructs mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and power supply assemblies. Specialized equipment is occasionally used to assemble, modify, and test components, ensuring all assemblies meet quality standards.

Essential Functions – Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assemble Mechanical assemblies
  • Assemble power supply assemblies
  • Verify that the finished product meets quality standards as designated on the drawings
  • Manages time effectively
  • Must be able to closely work with engineering on design/documentation issues and recommend improvements for manufacturability and quality
  • Operates tools and production equipment
Scope and Complexity

This role requires flexibility with assemblers working independently or within a team based on a set schedule. Independence and self-drive are key qualities for successfully handling tasks without direct supervision. This role requires ownership, accountability, and the desire to commit to others success.

Tools, Technology, or Equipment Used

Regularly uses hand tools, electric drivers, test equipment, soldering irons, microscopes and presses for mechanical fasteners.

  • Working knowledge of basic computer functions

Required Qualifications
  • Must be a US Person (US Citizen, person granted US Permanent Resident Card or any individual who is granted status as a "protected person")
  • Education requirements: GED/High School Diploma
  • 2+ years of mechanical experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • IPC certification
Work Conditions

Work is primarily performed in a manufacturing environment with consistent exposure to the manufacturing floor and testing environments. May require lifting up to 25 lbs and standing for extended periods of time.
