Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to protect our campuses in New York. You will complete required training, maintain licensing and certifications, and respond to on-site emergencies while ensuring effective access control.

The role requires a valid NY Security Guard License, a High School Diploma or GED, and availability for the 2pm–10pm shift. You will operate surveillance and protection platforms and document incidents and reports.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Must hold valid NY State Security Guard License (16-hour course completed).
• Capable of working 2nd shift (2pm–10pm) as required.

Responsibilities

• Complete all required training and maintain required certifications.
• Respond to on-site emergencies and protect campus access controls.
• Operate surveillance and access control systems and write reports.
• Maintain licenses, certifications and other authorizations per laws.
• Detect, deter and report suspicious activity and respond to incidents.
