Job Description

Eligible applicants must live within the AAA Northeast footprint to be considered for work from home opportunities. This includes RI, MA, CT, NY & NJ. As a remote employee, you will need to meet specific work from home requirements, including high-speed internet access with minimum speed specifications.

Available shifts: 2nd shift, between 11:15am-10:30pm, including at least one weekend shift.

Responsibilities
  • Handle incoming calls from members requesting road service, gather necessary information, and provide timely assistance.
  • Explain AAA policies, benefits, and additional services; promote memberships and related products.
  • Determine appropriate actions for each call, including verifying membership, providing directions, and coordinating with dispatch.
  • Track ETAs, resolve service issues, and serve as a liaison to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Respond to general inquiries and refer members to appropriate departments when needed.
Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience: Customer Service or Call Center experience preferred.

Skills: Excellent communication, map reading, problem-solving, confidentiality, and bilingual fluency (if applicable). Ability to operate relevant software and interpret maps.

Additional Information

Salary range: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour.

Employment type: Full-time, Entry level, Other industry (Consumer Services).
