Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies in Mesa, AZ is seeking a skilled Cable and Wire Harness Assembler to read diagrams and assemble wires into harness systems per schematic drawings. You will wrap wires, assemble components, and test finished assemblies with attention to detail.

The role requires soldering, wire stripping, measurement of components, and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Second shift runs 3:30PM-12:30AM Mon-Thu, with every other Friday 2:30-10:30PM, and training on first shift prior

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with cable and wire assemblies.
• Ability to read wire diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
• Ability to measure wires and finished cable assemblies.
• Proficient in soldering and wire harness assembly.
• Must lift up to 35 pounds.
• Sit, stand, and walk; bend, stoop and reach.
• Work independently and problem solve with minimal supervision.
• Able to work 2nd shift as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Read wire diagrams, blue prints, and schematics for cable assembly.
• Assemble wires into cables and harness systems per schematic drawings.
• Wrap and tie wires at designated points to form harness.
• Assemble electrical components, systems and/or subsystems.
• Use automatic and hand held wire strippers for wire ends.
• Measure wires and finished cable assemblies for quality.
• Solder parts or connections between parts.
• Solder, wrap, and coat wires to ensure proper installation.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
