Job summary

Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort in Hancock, MA seeks a Full Time Year Round Building and Grounds Technician for the 2nd shift. This non-exempt hourly role reports to the Manager of Buildings and Grounds and maintains facilities to meet guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include inspections, routine maintenance, minor carpentry/plumbing/electrical work, pool/hot tub upkeep, and assisting guests during events. Must work outdoors in all weather, lift up to 50 lbs, and be 18+ with a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• Must be punctual and prepared to perform work duties.
• Must be available on weekends, holidays, and work a flexible schedule.
• Respond in a timely manner to work orders or assignments.
• Must be able to work independently and with minimum supervision.
• Operate machinery and power tools safely and in compliance with OSHA, company and manufacturers requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and periodic inspections of the property.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs to buildings.
• Carry out carpentry, plumbing, painting, sheetrock, and electrical work.
• Move furniture and supplies.
• Open and close all buildings.
• Test and maintain pools and hot tubs.
• Assist conference sales staff with room setups and breakdowns.
• Assist guests with luggage and emergencies in a calm, professional manner.
