American Rheinmetall Vehicles is seeking a Brake Press Operator for the 2nd shift to run brake press equipment, set up tooling, and ensure quality and safety. The role requires blueprint literacy, adherence to 5S, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives on a lean manufacturing team.

Qualifications include at least two years of brake press experience, high school diploma or GED, and safety-conscious approach with PPE usage. ISO/AS9100 environment experience is a plus.

Qualificações

• Two years of press brake operation experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and PPE use.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Set up tooling in the brake press to meet job specifications.
• Load parts into the brake press and ensure proper alignment.
• Operate the press according to specifications and requirements.
• Understand the functionality of the press brake pendant.
• Ensure the press brake operates safely and all safety devices are functional.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing efforts.
• Support and promote the company's mission, vision, and values in daily activities.
• Maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including adherence to 5S standards.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, external regulations, and legal requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
