Pro Resources Inc. in Columbia City, IN is hiring an experienced Brake Press Operator for a 2nd shift. You will set up and operate brake presses to bend and form metal components, read blueprints, and select tooling to meet job specs.

The role offers $28–$36 per hour, with a $3/hour second-shift premium, Monday–Thursday 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., and overtime on Fridays as needed. Safety and quality workmanship are emphasized in a clean, organized plant.

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of brake press experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate brake press machines to bend and form metal components.
• Read blueprints and work orders to meet job specifications.
• Select tooling and adjust machine settings for each job.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality.
• Perform routine equipment cleaning and maintenance.
• Help meet production goals while maintaining a safe, organized workspace.
