The ideal candidate has MBV Team Leader training and solid Body Shop knowledge, with 4+ years of relevant experience or equivalent certifications.

Qualifications

• Completed MBV Team Leader Training Program.
• Knowledge of Body Shop operations.
• High school Diploma or GED Required.
• 4+ years relevant experience; OR relevant certificate + 3 years relevant experience; OR relevant associates degree + 1 year relevant experience.
• Preferred: 5+ years relevant experience; OR relevant certificate + 4 years relevant experience; OR relevant associates degree + 2 years relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Machine feeding, set ups, operation of automated and robotic welding machines.
• Monitor and set up machinery for optimal performance.
• Sanding, grinding and deburring of metals.
• Work with hand, power, and pneumatic tools.
• Perform quality and visual inspection of final welds.
• Assemble and fabricate metal structure according to work specifications.
• Read and interpret diagrams and blueprints.
• Efficiently and safely load machines with required parts and identify issues.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Program.
• Must pass assessment testing.
