Job summary

TALENIQUE INC is seeking a 2nd Shift Blow Molding Operator in Ayer, MA. The role runs Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 11:30pm with a starting pay of $21 per hour. You will operate blow molding machinery, adjust settings, perform trims, and ensure product quality in a manufacturing environment.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED (or 2+ years related experience) and be able to use computers. Lifting up to 60 pounds and prolonged standing are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates blow molding machine to mold plastic products per specifications.
• Adjusts timing, temperature, and feed mechanisms for molding.
• Aligns mandrel with mold chamber and adjusts controls as needed.
• Starts machine to feed materials and mold products under heat and pressure.
• Cleans, trims excess material from molded parts and inspects for quality.
• Regrinds scrap material for reuse and weighs parts to verify accuracy.

Position: 2nd Shift Blow Molding Operator

Salary: $21 per hour

Hours: Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-11:30pm

Location: Ayer, MA

BASIC FUNCTIONS

Position has responsibility for operating Blow Molding Machinery according to standard operating procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes, but is not limited to the following:

1. Sets up and operates blow molding machine to mold plastic products according to specifications: Turns valves to start flow of water and release air pressure to machine.
2. Moves machine controls to set timing unit and temperature of heating unit and start automatic feed mechanism.
3. Adjusts machine mandrel and aligns mandrel with mold chamber, using wrenches.
4. Starts molding machine that automatically feeds material from mixing unit to mandrel and to mold chamber.
5. Closes chamber to mold product under heat and pressure.
6. Removes workpiece from mold after timing device opens mold, and trims excess material from workpiece, using knife or bandsaw.

Regrinds excess material and unsatisfactory workpiece for reuse, using grinding machine.

1. May weigh completed workpiece to determine accuracy of machineoperation.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED: or 2 plus years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior machine operating experience, blow molding machine experience a plus. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to visually identify defective parts. Must be able to use computer and associated programs.
